GNDU Regional Campus, Jalandhar was established as a constituent campus of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The campus serves the educational needs of the students of Jalandhar district and adjoining areas. It is located at Ladhewali Road, Jalandhar — one of the most accessible locations in the city.
Since its inception, the campus has been committed to providing quality education at affordable cost. The campus has grown significantly over the years and now offers a wide range of UG and PG programmes. The campus has modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a rich library, sports facilities and hostel accommodation for outstation students.

Guru Nanak Dev University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with the highest grade of A++ with a CGPA of 3.85 out of 4.00. GNDU is the only university in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh to be placed in UGC Category-I.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of GNDU Regional Campus, Jalandhar works to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of academic and administrative processes. The IQAC coordinates with the university's main IQAC at Amritsar for compliance and quality benchmarking.
Key activities include: academic audit, faculty development programmes, student feedback mechanism, green campus initiatives and preparation of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQARs).
